Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA
Staying at the Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA was such a memorable part of our Acadia trip. From our camper we had beautiful views of the water, the kind that made mornings feel calm and unhurried. Even though our site only had electric and water hookups, the campground made things easy with their honey wagon service—you just signed up at the office, and they took care of everything.
What I loved most was the convenience of the Island Explorer shuttle stopping right at the campground. We could leave the truck behind and head straight into Acadia without any stress. It made exploring the park so simple and gave the whole trip a relaxed rhythm.
